The kitchens of River Palace Chinese Restaurant, River Garden Coffee House and hotel catering/banquet at Riverview Hotel are headed by Executive Chef Lewis Tay, a veteran of the hotel industry with an impressive 30 years’ wealth of culinary experience in the past 30 years.

Armed with his Southern Pacific Hotel Corporation (Australia) Hospitality Training Board Certificate, Chef Tay has worked in various renowned restaurants and hotels in Australia, China and Singapore.

These include Burleigh Hut Restaurant, Ramada Hotel, Hyatt on Collins, ANA Hotel Gold Coast and Victoria Arts Centre, Central Hotel Nanjing, Traders Hotel and Furama Riverfront Singapore, among others.

A comfortable live music venue in Singapore, you can relax and unwind in the cosy ambience of Jade Lounge while our resident band, New Angels, will serenade you with a repertoire of popular songs, ranging from Jazz, Pop, Country to Rock.

Here is the performance schedule of New Angels:

  • Tuesday to Saturday (including eve of Singapore Public Holidays) – 7.30 pm to 8.15 pm at River Terrace, from 8.30 pm* at Jade Lounge
  • Sunday – 11.45 am to 2.30 pm at River Terrace

* Break time is from 9.15 pm to 9.45 pm.

Jade Lounge Terrace

Level 1 (Outside Jade Lounge) – 12 noon to 12 midnight (Monday to Sunday)

If you are looking for an outdoor chill out place in Singapore, Jade Lounge Terrace, with its view of the Singapore River, is the perfect spot for a drink with your friends. Major sporting events, such as football and rugby championships/ tournaments, are also shown on a giant screen at the Terrace.
